Graduate: Stetson University, MAcc
Where do you work?
Mark A. Stiles, CPA • CSDC Systems
How did you get involved in H54H?
I founded H54H because of the love I have for my family, personal experiences and my desire to do all I can so that another family doesn’t have to worry if this time is the last time they’ll see their loved one again due to cancer.
Why do you enjoy being a High Fiver?
We reach an audience that is often neglected in most organizations’ charitable efforts and we have fun! Fighting to eradicate a horrible disease doesn’t mean we can’t have a good time for a great cause!
What does it mean to you to be a High Fiver?
If we can help one person understand the risks of leukemia, colorectal, and testicular cancer it’s one more person who’s aware. Reaching out to that one person with an outstretched hand and connecting with a “five” is what it means to be a High Fiver.
What is your favorite H54H event that you have participated in and why?
Every event gets better, how could I choose?! If forced though I’d have to say the Race for Hope. Connecting with each runner and “high fiving” each one as he or she crossed the finish line was amazing!
