 This month of May brings us back to memories of our beginning. With it being month number 5 and there being 5 weeks in May what better way to kick off our partnership with Camp Boggy Creek!!! Starting this year, and continuing in subsequent years, H54H will sponsor a child battling Leukemia, Colorectal and Testicular cancer with an experience second to none. With that said, we need your help....

So how can you help? By helping H54H raise $2500 through the month of May to cover expenses related to the wonderful experience we'll provide. We're asking for you all to contribute $5 for the 5 weeks of May leading to a $25 contribution from each of you. Only 100 contributions will reach our goal!
Now, what can this amount do? The $2500 provides H54H and Camp Boggy Creek the ability to provide a child with the opportunity to attend one of their eight weeklong sessions where campers with the same illness come together. Campers range in age from 7 through 16 and each session accommodates up to 150 children (depending on the illness group). For the children, it's a chance to be with other kids "just like themselves."
In addition to the great experience for the child, the summer sessions provide a needed break for parents while giving them the peace of mind of knowing that their child is receiving the best care available. |
